Syria can wait?

This is a real event that is happening nowdays and since more than one year (march 2011).
'Revolution in Syria'. Can be called in that way.
Syria's president Bashar al-Assad, in the position 10+ years, took the power after his father (Hafez al-Assad).
Al-Assad attacks (daily) his own country, but he says everytime that those are terrorists.
On the other side, the 'rebels' are fighting against the government forces. Everyday in each city many people die. No matter woman, children or man.
Taking into account this situation, the world should act quickly. But it doesn't happen yet.
UN "tried" with special envoy Kofi Annan, but nothing happened. A route plan was made, 300+ UN forces went to Syria to act as 'Peace forces', but nothing happened.
Now, world leaders give each week an opinion about what's happening in Syria.
But no actions. Nothing.
Turkey had accepted many refugees. But in some days this country will say, no more! There are more than 60.000 people.
So, Syria can wait more time?
