Today, august 6th is a day that humanity can´t ever forget never. This day (but 66 years ago - 1945) one US war-plane conducted an atomic bomb (nuclear) over Hiroshima, an important and big city in Japan (big population).
Atomic bomb was named "Little Boy" launched over Hiroshima, by orders of President Harry Truman (US). According to the Japanesse government, the day of the bomb in Hiroshima 90.000 to 166.000 people dead in the instant of the bomb.
This bomb was launched the same year that World War II ended. Japan was the last country that left the war. US decide to prepare two atomic bombs to stop Japan, because this country started a pacific offensive and Truman's government thought about the best idea to end the war.
During the Cold war (1945-1989) nuclear weapons were the principal actors. Actually more than 8 countries have their own bombs and others are probably preparing it or looking how to obtain it.

Hi Juan,
ReplyDeletegood post! here's some of the mistakes i've spotted. nothing serious.
Today, august 6th is a day... can't (ever) forget.
Atomic bomb was named "little boy" instead of "Little boy" was named...
According to (the) Japanese ... ,on the day of the bombing in Hiroshima, 90,000-166,000 people died instantly from the impact of the bomb.
US decided to prepare 2 atomic bombs to stop Japan, because she (when you refer to a country, you don't use it/he.. instead, you use "she"), started an offensive in the pacific and Truman's government THOUGHT (past tense of think is thought, instead of "thinked".. there is no such word!) about the best ....
During (the) Cold War ... nuclear weapons were the principal actors. (GOOD job there! many people mix up principal and principle..)
More than 8 countries have their own bombs and others are (probably) preparing or looking at ways to obtain it.
good job!
